Live Free Autonomy Collective removes financial barriers for anyone receiving abortion care and gender-affirming care in or from New Hampshire through direct service funding and movement building guided by patient need.
Our Vision
Live Free Autonomy Collective envisions a safe and supportive community in which everyone has full bodily autonomy and can access the affordable healthcare they need whether that is abortion, gender-affirming, birth, or contraceptive care.

Our Values: How We Do Our Work
Bodily Autonomy & self-determination
Bodily autonomy is a fundamental right. We reject laws, systems, and social norms that seek to control our bodies, families, and futures.
Intersectionality
Various social identities, such as race, gender, class, ability, and sexuality, interact to create unique experiences of oppression or privilege. These identity markers are not independent of each other, and each informs the other. Individual access to care is shaped by these overlapping identities and our work accounts for these realities in order to be just and effective.
Lived Experience as Expertise
People are experts in their own lives. We center the knowledge, wisdom, and leadership of those directly impacted by barriers to care because lived experience is a form of expertise that shapes our programs, priorities, and movement.
Community-Leadership
Community members share ownership of this work and we prioritize leadership development for those most impacted by healthcare restrictions and center the voices, experiences, and leadership of the most marginalized among us.
Compassion & Dignity
We meet people with compassion rather than shame or stigma, as they navigate life, including when they access care. We strive to treat every caller, volunteer, and partner with equal dignity, care, and humanity.
Trust
Trust is the foundation of our relationships with callers, volunteers, partners, and one another. We trust people to know their own lives, understand their own needs, and make decisions that are right for them and their families. We believe people when they tell us what they need and intentionally refuse to means-test those seeking support
Trust also shapes how we build community. We trust volunteers to lead, partners to bring their expertise, and community members to help shape the future of our work. By extending trust, we build reciprocal relationships and collective responsibility that makes community care possible.
Our Frameworks: How We Approach Our Work
Reproductive Justice
Live Free Autonomy Collective grounds itself in the framework of Reproductive Justice, defined by SisterSong as, "The human right to maintain personal bodily autonomy, have children, not have children, and parent the children we have in safe and sustainable communities".
Reproductive justice is about meaningful access to abortion, not just legal rights. While the legal right to an abortion is necessary, it is not enough. There is no choice without access.
With this reality in mind, the movement for reproductive justice demands we also work on a broader set of issues that impact people’s ability to access care. Our work recognizes that abortion access is inseparable from access to healthcare broadly, basic needs, social safety, and community care.
Trans Liberation
We work to provide trans people with the resources necessary to access gender-affirming care because we believe that reproductive justice and trans liberation are intrinsically tried. LFAC rejects the idea that pregnancy, abortion, birth, or family-making belong to one gender. We build resources for all abortion seekers and affirm trans, non-binary, and gender-expansive people. We actively challenge cisheteronormativity in reproductive healthcare and justice spaces. Funding gender-affirming care and advocating for both reproductive justice and trans liberation is an intentional strategy informed by these frameworks.
Collective Liberation
Repro Fund seeks to dismantle the systems of oppression that create and maintain barriers to healthcare access. We challenge cisheteropatriarchy, capitalism, colonialism and white supremacy, along with all other systems of oppression and domination. We cannot achieve collective liberation by organizing in isolation. Liberation is not individual or conditional - collective liberation is the only liberation.
Values-Based Governance & Funding
Decision-making is rooted in our values, principles, and the needs of our community. We actively reject respectability politics, nonprofit norms, and the overprioritization of individual risk or discomfort. We believe governance should be accountable to the people who are most impacted by barriers to bodily autonomy and strive to ensure those voices shape our priorities, policies, and direction.
By relying on broad community support, we remain accountable first to one another rather than to institutions with whom we do not share values. We carefully steward the resources entrusted to us and decline funding that would compromise our values, integrity, or autonomy.
Mutual Aid
The support we provide, be it financial or practical, is not charity work - it is community support led by and for those most impacted. We create opportunities for people to remain engaged with the community beyond the moment they receive support. We believe in building reciprocal relationships that strengthen collective power and address root causes, not just immediate crises. Our intention is to maintain a holistic, community-based network of care.
